AlternaHome Solutions Inc: The company specializes in applying the principles of Sustainable Development to new construction. Each project focuses on energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable development. AlternaHome Solutions Inc. uses its own 7 step methodology to ensure that prospective home owners obtain a product that is financially viable, environmentally responsible and sustainable. Each project is carefully planned starting at the building lot level. Energy efficiency is the focal point of every step from design to construction to certification. Renewable Energy Technologies are included where possible and managed for optimum efficiency. Home owner comfort and satisfaction are always at the forefront.

Vision Land Development Ltd: The company owns and is responsible for the development of the Vision Lands, the name given to a large parcel of land in the center of the City of Moncton. The developers have plans to transform this landscape into a natural community that thrives in harmony with nature. This new community will be made up of several villages, each one having its own village square. The goal is to have primary amenities within walking distance to the home. Having small clustered villages promotes walking, cycling, community activities and participation. Phase 1 is slated to begin with the construction of streets, boulevards and lanes, with the Moncton VISION Home being the first residential construction in this new community.

Advisory Committee

In order to ensure a quality product that reflects the goals of the EQuilibrium™ initiative, the Moncton VISION Home team formed an Advisory Committee that incorporates different groups who have a vested interest in a project of this nature. The Advisory Committee's role is to provide leadership in different areas such as marketing and promotion, education, building practices and technology choices. It is a forum that brings together an eclectic mix of representatives to ensure a complete approach to the Moncton VISION Home.
